Are all very much the same
Have many empty pages
Waiting for words and for names.
You're the writer of this book
It's main character and star
So make your book special
The best one written so far.
Choose your friends carefully
As you live each new day
Or you'll spoil your only book
Say words, you shouldn't say.
Friends can enrich your life
Become treasures of gold
Help you to reach heaven
Your life's most precious goal.
Don't let ties from friends end
Or be forever broken
Because of harsh words that
Shouldn't have been spoken.
Like a torn page in a book
That's in need of a mend
Love and forgiveness becomes glue
To patch this awful sin.
Don't allow evil deeds
Be written in your book
Life is fleeting fast
Now give it a close look!
Erase them from your book
Remember them no more
And they'll vanish forever
For they've not been stored.
Life is full of choices
As you live each new day
Strive to put God in charge
Allow him to have his say.
