Jesus Parable on Wine

Luke 5:31-39

Those in good health needs no doctor,
But they that are sick need an uplifter;
Jesus did not call on the righteous men,
Rather the sinners to repent once again;
Pharisees didn't understand why no fast,
With supplication as John did in the past;
Jesus responded by asking, “Can you make,
The sons fast for the bridegroom's sake?
It'll come when they'll have a fasting day,
When the bridegroom will be taken away;
No one tears a remnant from new clothes,
Use as a handkerchief to blow your nose;
Or use that piece to patch an old shirt,
You'll ruin the new one to cause it to hurt;
Plus the new piece not matches the old,
You'll look like more of a bum I am told;
Same as putting new wine into old wineskins,
As you are pouring it in the leaking begins;
And new wine deserves a fresh new one,
For new wine must be left for aging begun".
