A New Woman

No disgrace

My dear child do not be ashamed of your raggy doll with silly laces.
so what if the other girls have got dolls with pretty faces.
It's not much of a life when it's just a pretty face.
To be who you are is no disgrace.
do not be afraid if you don't fit in.
Look who's in the reject bin.
At least you can have much more fun.
In the park and play silly in the sun.
So do not despair.
For you raggy doll you must care.
why are you bothered if she has a bump on her nose?
Why are you bothered if she has lumps on her toes?
A life is life to have fun, but you can't if the dolls' just a pretty face.
Let it be it's self and one day you'll love her to bits and she will smile like grace.
A pretty doll will not play chase or race.
say to the other girls with their pretty dolls' you just do not care.
you will be fair.
For your doll you'll love and care.
So weep not my dear child.
