See the snowfall from the sky,
A sudden burst of white purity,
Covering our land as it flows,
Snowflake invasion from above,
With it brings a new dawn,
Crisp vast and cold I love,
Fields glisten time stands still
Nothing grows frozen unseen.
Then come the morn of melt,
Slowly cold snow makes way,
To mother natures fresh start,
Green shoots reaching to the sky,
Yet as I stand to glance I realize,
The flurry of snow is like life,
We are born to die, as is this splendor,
I behold before me in my sight.
Reminds me that nothing is forever,
So cherish what we have today,
For tomorrows another morning,
Our splendorous sights may be gone.
Take your time look around this day,
Nothing last forever nothing stays,
All things come and go and always will,
Flurry of snow, here today, Gone tomorrow.
