Our Deep Intimacy #63
Reading through your love letters That you wrote many years ago, I remember when my love for you First began to grow. How you always came to visit me, You were patient and kind. How sensitively you listened to me And no fault you would find. You were a perfect gentleman, So tender in every way. You never pushed your way into my life And never begged to stay. You always spoke so softly, It was like music to my soul And when you asked me to marry you, My heart leaped beyond control. Now, looking at our children, Still brings my joyful life to tears As they resemble you more and more Through pages of passing years. I love you precious Jesus For the husband you've been to me, But especially for these moments Of our deep intimacy. -Lighthouse Bob |
