YOUNG AND IN LOVE

Dedicated to my ex's parents, wrote this at
school 25 years ago. P.S they know how they are.

Who’s to know what people really feel,
And who knows how they’re meant to care,
To judge upon someone so young,
Just doesn’t seem that fair.

They have the right to choose,
The same as you and I,
We’re not to stop the happy ones,
But praise and let them try.

Do people really understand,
And are they meant to see,
Do they have the right to choose,
A life for you and me.

When youngsters in love feeling strong,
Who are we to split apart,
But wish them on their merry way,
And hope they never part.
