Mother Mary #76
At Bethlehem, I was truly blessed For the great thing that God had done... And from this my meek and lowly state, God conceived through me His Son. At Jerusalem, I searched and searched For where my precious child might lurk... And when I found Him, He said to me, “I have been doing my Father's work.” At Cana, I told Him they needed wine For the wedding party desired some... “Woman, what have I to do with you?” He said, for His time had not yet come. At Capernaum, I sought my Jesus To counsel Him with motherly love... But He said, “My family only consists Of those who obey the Word above.” At Golgotha, sister Mary and I wept For loving words my Jesus said... “Now, you are a part of My family... ...It is finished!” and bowed His head. -Lighthouse Bob |
