Respect and HonorJohn 8:49-51 Jesus said unto them, "I have no demon, But, I honor my Father and not any man; You dishonor me for being His only son, I seek not my own glory in being the one; There is one that does seek and judge, Who can not be swayed or to budge; He will stand firm with His decision, It won't be changed through persuasion; I tell you now whoever keeps my Word, Worrying about death would be absurd"; Too often, we do not show the respect, For those who are in authority reflect; Honor and respect to be in the past, By those who seem to be living fast; Some kids act like they are due more, Bringing them through the birthing door; We want to give them what we didn't own, Once they got it the more they do moan; We need to show respect where it's due, Honor ones who God has in charge over you.
