My Story
………I went to meet her
She was living with a man
She didn’t want him to know she had a child
She was stealing goods, selling drugs.
I was shocked, I felt bitter
I still did not know who my father was
My mother rejected me for her own interest
I vowed I would not meet her anymore
Worst of all her indifference
A recurrent theme in my tales
Was it my fault that I was born?
Why you have brought me in this earth?
I was abused by so many people
At every corners of life
I struggled to get up
I failed miserably.
Days of poverty and hunger
My tears have dried up
Round-up and repression
I could no longer sustain.
I hated this cruel world
I would kill myself
I had a wish
I liked golden flowers
-Do cover my body
With bunch of flowers.
And yes, do play soft music
This will erase all the numbness.
I bet I will come back again
In this world
With a silver spoon.
Please pray for me.
Pray…
…Goodbye.
