In Finality

Is what we say, really what we mean
are is the truth somewhere in between?
Does our eye lids blink each time we lie
are is that just a sign that we’re about to cry?

Who knows what we really think?
We may wear a smile, but that could be
misleading by a mile.

Judge not by looks are sounds, but only
by what is solid and tied to the ground.
Pipe dreams comes to us all, but beware
they can be full of holes and can cause
a disastrous fall.

Lies await to soothe our soul,
but in reality they will end up
stealing our gold.

Beware of the stranger, who promises
dreams beyond reality. He may be the
Devil himself in finality.
