The Deceitful StewardLuke 16:1-8 There was a rich man, who had a steward, Charges brought unto him that mattered; He was squandering his goods and money, He summoned him since it sounded funny; "What's it in hearing about you?"He asked, "Turn in the account, all you were tasked; No longer can you be a steward by trade", The steward said to himself, felt betrayed; "What shall I do, since my boss fired me? No tree surgeon since I can't climb a tree; I'm too weak to dig, ashamed to go solicit, I know what I must do, check on his debit"; So one by one, he asks of what they owed, First one says,"100 liters of oil flowed"; He tells him to slash by half, make it 50, Another he tells to change his debt to 80; Rather than owing 100 bushels of wheat, The boss praised the steward for his deceit; Shrewdness for sons of the world how bright, Dealing in their own than the sons of light.
