Lasting Impression

You are like a blueprint
permanent magic marker
you are writings etched in stone
you are the lines inside of my hand
my lasting impression
You are the other part of my soul
inspiration at it's full potential
You are my pen and paper
because you are what drives them
my safe harbor where I rest my ship
you love me but don't tolerate my s***
my companion, my lover
oh how you have left a lasting impression.
