Indian Lovers Find Each OtherShe is a lovely Indian maiden sitting alone on a big brown rock, by the clear babbling brook. She waits for her dream lover who she believes will rescue her, for him every day she does look. In the distance so far her eyes can't see sitting beside the same babbling brook, is a tall handsome Indian brave. He looks in the direction of the maiden wondering why he has such apprehension, and this strong unexplained rave. He feels as though he must travel on taking no time to stop and rest, his unknown destination is within grasp. He follows the brook that leads him on and on still wondering about this strange feeling, that pulls him and hold him in its clasp. At the next bend, over the hill he can see the outline of his dream come true, there waiting is his maiden full of charms. She stands and begins to wave to him as he quickly with speed approaches her, she runs into his outstretched arms. It's the end of his long long search he has found the one he was dreaming of, and she knows he is her dream lover. Forever together they will remain and go through life hand in hand, they know they will never want any other. Norma Duncan copyright Jan. 2004 (written about two indian pictures I purchased separate from each other. One is an indian maiden on a rock by a brook looking to the right. The other is an indian brave by a brook, looking to the left like he was looking for someone. I bought the two pictures because I thought they belonged together.)
