People, people everywhere,
Over here and over there,
In the streets in their homes,
Even on the telephones.
People in shops some in pubs,
There are people in trains,
And people in cars,
All going places but not that far.
Walking streets strolling lanes,
Some are up in airplanes,
On a ship far out at sea,
There’s some in space would you believe.
Thousand’s of people just like us,
Traveling like penguins but none are stuffed,
Look at the faces and what do they do,
Where are they heading where do they go.
But all of the time as I look around,
There’s one thing in common I seem to have found,
I’ve looked in the mirror perhaps so should you?
For what I have found is they look like us too.
