When I'm Lost

Its a complicated life I lead
So I stop and think of you today
And I know if ever I feel lost
I can look to you and find my way

I search the depths of your eyes
Looking for a window to help me see
And I feel at peace now reflected within them
Drowning in their tempting clarity

And if your eyes can't lead me home
I shall place my hand upon your heart
For it draws me closer to you each day
From mornings' light 'til suns depart

Your tender breath so soft and sweet
Falls like wind whispers upon my ear
And I hear your guiding sirens song
Saying love lies waiting for me here

So many things in this world today
Keep true hearts lost and separated
But I will find my way to you
Within this precious love we have created

So I know now that when I am lost
There really is no more need to fear
For your love will be the path I tread
Until I once more hold you near
