Let Me Be Your Child #92
Let me be your child, Lord, With little fingers caressing little toes And little dreams from little eyes That wrinkle when they close. Sweet dreams of innocence Of a life that has been set free With your glory and your kingdom come Through your child which lives in me. By your grace, dear loving Father, This world has known new birth Because your promised child has come To live upon the earth. Not in cathedrals made with hands For all the world to see, But in the image of your Son Through your child which lives in me. My life has been rejuvenated As your newborn child, indeed, To receive your heavenly kingdom, Lord And to plant a precious seed. I am thankful to be your child In your gentle arms forevermore to be Singing praises unto you, Father, Through your child which lives in me. -Lighthouse Bob |
