TELEPHONE FRIEND
Dedicated to Sarah C.
Here on the phone I talk to you,
We never meet but I know you,
A laugh and a joke is always past,
We kill some time but it goes to fast.
It started out as customer advice,
Problems to solve you where so nice,
And ever time I phoned again,
A joke my friend I sent you’re way.
We spoke some more about our kids,
I gave advice on you’re little miss,
The job I left, no need to phone,
You where there, I missed those moans.
So onto the phone to you I got,
Full of moans I had a lot,
Now and then as time goes bye,
I’ll phone you up and just say hi.
One day our families we may meet,
Then depart to our retreats,
But never fear for in the end,
You’ll always be my telephone friend.
