NO MORE
No more feelings there to burn,
Life is crying all is hurting,
Never knowing what is next,
Think my life it must be hexed.
Kids playing up all night,
Will I ever get it right?
Draining body and my soul,
Feel that I am growing old.
Wishing wanting all the time,
For the kids to all be fine,
Friends all saying there’s no text,
Kids no different than the rest.
God alive perhaps it’s me,
I’ll just go on and let it be,
Day after day, night after night,
I wish that I could just take flight.
I love my children one and all,
I think they learnt this all from school,
But in these days and times we know,
I guess that’s how the children grow.
