If You Are a GOD of Love #106
If you are a God of Love, Why is there such misery and woe And why are the innocent persecuted Almost everywhere I go? If you are a God of Love, Why are the lost in such disarray And why do they reject your witness To sadly turn away? If you are a God of Love, Why are the elderly neglected And why are the hungry and homeless people So carelessly rejected? If you are a God of Love, Why do wars continue to increase And why are our families ending in divorce With no hope for peace? If you are a God of Love, Why do you allow such evilness to reign And why have you not come to deliver us? Please, will you not explain? And I heard the voice of God, “What you've said is very sad, but true. Yes, be assured that I am a God of Love... And that is why I sent you.” -Lighthouse Bob |
