BURNING THE CASH
It’s wrong I know a waste each day,
To blow the cash I have this way,
But like the jaws of sharks it grips,
The thing feels good between my lips.
A craving crawl and harsh it bears,
Don’t be mislead and think it cares,
For once you’re hooked it grasps within,
Then slowly health decline begins.
The mined gets twisted torn apart,
Yet you’ll carry on each day you start,
Morning falls you wake in bed,
Behold those cravings in your head.
Yes you’ve known for all these years,
But go without and it brings tears,
The sweats the pains they grab and grow,
That harmless drug it won’t let go.
Harmless, hey, don’t make me laugh,
It slowly kills you from the start,
That fag that feels so good to you,
Just burns and slowly kills you to.
