Ollie _
On the wind this night,
came the sad news.
An echo of a life fleeing,
rushing through me.
Your heart so pure,
your smile another kind.
Waiting to embrace,
another heart each time.
I can't believe,
this has happened to you.
The fear of living,
stronger than the fear of death,
can this really be you.
No need to try,
too hard to explain.
Those feelings you floated,
in our lives each day.
Some few words,
echo inside my head.
‘Hey! what cha doin,'
as you would always say.
That's just it _ Ollie,
the way you were.
Full of life,
that mirror for us.
My heart weeps,
your smile would not fail.
A light in our lives,
your gift was to all.
Yet _ you're not really gone,
in my mind you endure.
Can still hear your laughter,
everywhere the place.
What's that I hear,
as we sit on this pew.
Carried on the wind,
can you hear it too?
Listen hard,
on the wind in the trees.
Hear the flutter and a chuckle,
when we rise from our knees.
‘ I'm all right,
great view from up here.
As they call me away.
to help dry my tears.'
‘ I will miss you all,
as they lead me away.
The old ones are here,
my dreaming trail waits.
_ So yawyah yupla _ I love you_ goodbye.'
