I sit and out the window gaze,
I’ve just woke up a brand new day,
The rain is purring from the sky,
All I can do is sit and sigh.
Why wont the sun come Out to play,
Does it have to go and rain all day?
Oh weatherman, please come tell me,
The rain will go, clouds will flee.
It’s my day off from work today,
Make the sun come out to play,
Send the rain to a place that needs,
Like the desert grow some trees.
Two days ago you gave us snow,
Thawed out now it had to go,
Now you’re sending wind and rain,
Lord above send sun again.
Still while the rain makes you feel blue,
You step out side and get soaked through,
Back in doors you’re going to dry,
It’s not that bad give it a try.
Still flowers love this rainy day,
Grass stands tall as if to pray,
The garden needs a drop or two,
Just like love the way we do.
