The Journey

I'm off again on a journey
It isn't as far as some may think
Its just over the top of that mountain
And across these bluest depths of sea

As I'm walking on my way
I'll touch every blade of grass
And I'll see every dreamy cloud
As it is slowly floating past

I'll listen to the birds that sing
Watch them dancing up in the sky
And I'll love the laughter in the wind
As home is the destination in my eye

And now I'm off on my hearts true journey
I have waited forever for a love like this
Embraced at last in gentle open arms
Walking for miles to feel your kiss

I can't describe this feeling now
I feel at last like I am free
With a destination firmly in my mind
Going to the love that has come to be....
