I Miss You Too

I think about you when you're gone
And I lie here now and try to sleep
Can't I just look into your shining eyes
And now your heart is mine to keep

And though I drift off on this cloud
Your smile will never fade away
And your heartbeat still plays in my ear
I reach out now as if to say....

Yes my love I miss you too
Tender tears slowly dance upon my eyes
And even though I'm not beside you
My tears kiss your lips...and so do I

My thoughts go to this precious thing
A love thats familiar but oh so new
And a smile breaks out among the tears
As I think of you and all that you do

So yes my love I miss you too
But the evening stars have filled the sky
So I'll send my love out on a star
And meet you in my dreams tonight

So I think its time to go at last
Goodnight dear heart, one more lullaby
May tomorrow again find me there with you
With your heart joining once more with mine
