True LoveI Corinthians 13 Love suffers long and is kind, not envious, Love never vaunts or ever is it devious; Love is not selfish or seeks on its own, Love isn't provoked or as hard as a stone; Love isn't evil or never tries to retaliate, Love stays on course and does not deviate; Love rejoices in hope not unrighteousness, Love bears all things for its truthfulness; Love believes in all things as it endures, Love never fails as it grows and matures; Whether there is any prophecy on peace, Whether there are tongues that'll cease; Whether there is knowledge for to impart, That we may be able still prophesy in part; When I was a child I had childish thought, I spoke and felt and acted as a child ought; Maturing as an adult to end childish ways, For of knowing more now during these days; Now faith hope and love abides deep within, The greatest which is love to conquer sin.
