You Amaze me…
You amaze me, it's beautiful you said, When I send you the phoenix poem, Then I said to give me a theme or two, And I'd get my head and brain going! You told me Phillip's always on your mind, He comes between your sleep, And every minute he's on your mind, From the moment dawn will creep. He snuck into your heart when you weren't looking, And stole that heart away, And never will you forget him, For you fell in love with him on that day! But alas it's not meant to be, You accepted you have to move into the light, And even though it will take its time, You will still dream of him every night. But you are stronger than you think, And that strength will see you through your trial, For it's always the hardest time, When you have to tread that one last mile!
