BLUE ROSES
This really happened
Blue roses for you I brought,
You loved them for my thoughts,
Would you not know they we’re fake,
I made one big mistake.
Yes I got them for I love you so,
My feelings I wanted to show,
But when I got home I felt down,
I gave them with love and a frown.
I looked in you’re eyes with a smile,
As you saw the mistake I had done,
For the roses I gave you we’re nice,
But not real, not even one.
Fake these blue roses we’re,
From the garage on my way home,
I’ll never go back there again,
I wished I had left them alone.
But now they sit on the side,
Made from lace they never will die,
In a way I guess this is true,
It’s the same as my love for you.
