Forbidden Kiss
It was not to ever happen
but alas it did
never planned it, it just came
out of nowhere, but no had to come from somewhere
deep hidden feelings buried underneath the surface
your lips met mine, I was a little surprised
but I sure didn't pull away
it consumed my every thoughts
the more it happened
the chances upped that we would get caught
I know in the back of my mind
I felt it not to be right
but I continued on until the charade could no longer go on
I don't know whose heart was broke the most
for a while their was strangeness between us
it tore me up but my hands were tied
my heart not free
oh if I had only one wish
I wish it was back to the way it used to be
it's better now, years have past
we have built back what was once tore down
but every now again our eyes lock
and we remember that forbidden kiss
I can't but help smile
sometimes it's the things we don't do, we end up regretting
we will always have our forbidden kiss.
