Knight In Shining Armor

Don't take me to your castle
Upon your bridled steed
For a knight in shining armor
Isn't what I need

A suit of steel so icy cold
Chains of metal in its place
A helmet covering your eyes...
So how could I touch your face?

A stance of courage and bravery
A vision of all heroic best
A vest protecting what's inside
But I need to touch the heart in your chest

A knight would never crumble
When he hears the battle call
But you touch the depths of my soul
When I see your teardops fall

So dont slay a dragon just for me...
That's not what I need you to do
I don't need a knight in shining armor...
All I need is you
