Believing and Not Seeing

John 20:29

"Peace is with you," Jesus said unto him,
Thomas was skeptical, as he looked grim;
Jesus tells him, "Touch with your finger,
Look at my hands and side not to linger;
Be not faithless, rather believe it is me."
Thomas was astounded as he could see;
"My Lord and my God!" shaking his head,
Jesus looked at Doubting Thomas and said;
"Have you believed because you've seen?
Blessed are whoever believe and not been;
Believer without sight knowing it's legit."
Do you need to see for your own benefit?
Or just being told the only proof you need?
A newspaper story enough proof to read?
Or must you go to see to know it is true?
Is your faith blind enough belief for you?
Seeing is believing may be right for those,
Who still count their fingers and toes;
For the Bible is a testimony of real proof,
Because I know that God would not spoof.
