Standing at Heaven's Gate
waiting in line
to get in,
I have thoughts
running through my head,
wondering if I've
had a good life
here on earth.
If I've done
everything I should have,
would the Lord
be able to forgive me
for all the
bad things I have done?
I have had a
good, kind, gentle soul,
my heart poured out
tears of sadness,
for other people around the world
I haven't had the chance
of ever knowing.
Heavenly Angels
guide me thorugh
the Gates of God's house,
they talk to me,
they fill me
with His love,
they sit me down
upon a fluffy, white cloud
and wait with me.
God calls me in
and points out
all the things I've done
in my life,
but He forgives me
and the Heavenly Angels
come and attach
wings to me.
