In his vision
How bashful he was in the crowd
He could read my innermost thoughts
A flicker of courage and awareness
Of his masculine beauty and grace.
If I’d only known in his vision
I’d have come to him long before
In the garden, in the shopping mart
His brown eyes stared deep into my heart
-Tell me about yourself
Look beyond my exterior
His glistening eyes, his black hair
Me on the divan, he is on the chair,
All those insolent and beastly things
Of my scars and wound of the past
Of helplessness and blind torture
My shyness melted in wild rapture.
The evening came to a close
The room became dark
All the stars glittered in the sky
All the birds heaved a relief of sigh.
His strong hands, his glowing face
His gentle touch- my body shaken
Mingled with moonlight and shadow
Filtered through open glass window.
His eyes met mine
His gentle cheek against mine
In my lips, words forming
I felt so good, so absorbing.
Stretched out on the large bed
Cried our eyes out in sheer joy
No more in the depth of great despair.
On top of the golden world we were.
