 Pastor Linda Sharing God's Love

Dear Carlie...Rest With Thy Father

In Florida today another familys' life is shattered,
To a brutal abductor none of this mattered.
Her name was Carla,but she was lovingly called Carlie.
She was only eleven years old with her whole
life ahead of her.
She was approached and then abducted,
Sadly she was trusting,for on the surveillance
camera it appeared she wasn't reluctant.
Now this beautiful girl will never graduate,
Never will she go out on her first date,
Never will she walk down the isle,
Never will she give birth to her child.
Her loved ones lives will forever change,
Only memories of eleven years will remain.
Father God another angel to you has arrived,
Comfort her loved ones Lord,that is now left behind.
The grief they will suffer will be overbearing,
While yet another...evil man was so uncaring!
I Pray...that prayers will flow for them
throughout our entire nation.
For when I heard this morning on the news...
her body was found,
A lump arose in my throat and tears to my eyes;
My first instinct was to bow my head and pray,
for this young angel and her family.
My heart is crying out...how are they failed?
How does this keep happening when there are
already so many evildoers that are jailed!
Perhaps a new law ought to be enforced,
The penalty for abducting a child will be
much worse.
I think it should be castration;
Hopefully a predator would then think twice,
Before he shattered anymore lives.
