Fingers On The Clock!Fingers on the clock, Oh hell what a to-do, I'm really late! I'm in a state! And where I am, I haven't a clue! I've been driving around for hours, Up and down every dale, Through every accessible road…! And now I'm looking rather pale! I tried to ask this fella, But he gave me such a stare, Here I am, alone and lost, And no-one to even care! So I trundled on and on, Not knowing my way home, And to cap it all…! I forgot me mobile phone! I can't ring for assistance, Cos I won't get out of me car, I don't wana be battered, But I need to get home, but it's too far! I know my way around some places, But this place, well I'm totally lost, And all because I was hasty, Oh hell, look at the cost! I've wasted all me petrol, And now am in a state, Cos all me family are at home, And I'm gona be dead late! We were all going out for a meal, So they said to me… But we're warning you, don't be late, Or you will have no tea! Then I found a road I knew, Thank goodness for that says she! And when I finally arrived home – late! There was this great big party, for me! So the morel of this tale is, Always take your mobile phone, Then you can phone somebody, To come and take you home!
