I am here without you
As the winters wind blows cold
I watch the geese leave in flight
Like them I wish that I could go
I don't have to tell you
For my love you already know
That winter brings me nothing
But teardrops in the snow
I long to stand beside you
As the summers grass is gone
And my heart will keep on longing
Even as water is stilled upon the stone
