Longing For My Love

Deepest night has fallen now
But thoughts of you won't let me be
I sit here silently longing for my love
Waiting for tomorrow and serenity

It is a feeling I wish would pass...
A pain only the strongest hearts can endure
So many people have tried to fight it
But in the end there is no cure

At first it comes in silently
And it seems not so hard to bear
Until it is like a ravel gone unnoticed
Then sanitys' cloth begins to tear
I plead and beg for one more moment
Holding onto a dream and a memory
Lost in the grips of longing
And my shredded sanity
