Lovers On The Shore
And as you fall helpless into awaiting arms
May you feel this heart and its tender charms
Let us sit and gaze upon this rolling sea
And embrace our future, our hopes, our dreams
The tide may purge upon this tender shore
But the world ne'er knew a force like this before
And though moment is taken into this foamy blue...
They still can not touch what we have so true
Stars shine envy with a heavenly touch
For they long for this force that we hold so much
They blaze out their light as constellation does fly
But they still can not see what we have in our eyes
Sands in the desserts look for secrets of old
Trying to posess the one thing that we now behold
As pyramids stand in their sacred of place...
What we hold is surreal and can not be replaced
Clouds in the sky could sail softly adrift
And search for this power, this glorious gift
But the sole posessors sit and gaze at the sea
With the greatest of treasures....
their love that has come to be
