I will cry for you this day,
My heart it hurts full of pain,
A land so cruel beyond compare,
I just feel guilt it is not fair.
This night god I can’t believe,
That you can be so cruel and mean,
You stand for love but I fail to see,
Why wont you let the children be.
Time after time again and again,
What have they done to have this shame?
Their fragile bodies not yet grown,
Why don’t you leave them all alone?
Starving hungry filled with death,
What’s going round inside their heads?
What love on earth can they conceive?
You have them crumbling on their knees.
So yes my god tonight I’ll cry,
Not for them, for you and why?
You must be sad feeling low,
But it’s not the way to let us know.
Let the children live again,
Stop the dieing and the pain,
Release this world and make it calm,
Please my god save them from harm.
