For You so Loved the world, You gave Your only Son that I be saved From death and sin --An awful grave-- To Everlasting Life. What Everlasting Life must be For one that's saved from sin like me, Now, present in Love's company? My heart these words express: Joy! Ecstatic! Glorious too ... There's no expression that might do For pure emotions felt for You, Perhaps, summed up by “Love.” Oh, Love that flows from angel's wing! Oh, Love that makes all nature sing! Oh, Love that brings about the spring! So wondrous given free. Why, yes it's Love for which I yearn, The Love I gain without return, For I, a man, could never earn This measure of Your Love. It was Your Love that died for me, It was Your Love that set me free, And so Your Love shall always be Why I might Love today ... And give Your Love away. -Lighthouse Bob |
