Living TodayIn Search of Morals This old world could really get me down, Anxiety would cause me to have a frown; With so much violence and women rape, The bad news makes it hard to escape; News of killings and shootings everyday, It's no longer enough for emotions to sway; Hollywood does not help with the matter, Allowing vulgarity in the media to splatter; It's nearly as if most people don't care, So common in language to cuss and swear; Even on the television most anything goes, R-rated Super Bowls in removing clothes; So many do not even show a Godly fear, In breaking laws no matter how severe; What has happened to this human race? No longer a conscience about loosing face; It seems all right to slip in our morals, The mind of a good Christian really boggles; We need to turn to God before it's too late, The swiftness of His wrath will be our fate.
