The morning dew lay on the ground,
Cool winter breeze does blow,
Spider web glistens in bushes twigs,
Songbirds sing the wakening tune.
All around is still in this hour,
People wakening but still hidden,
Shut behind closed doors but then,
A sudden rush of life the world awakens.
Noise beckons as people leave their homes,
The daily normality returns as birds fall silent,
Night turned to day as the sun shines.
The rigmaroles of life are once more
Yet we take for granted the wonders around us,
We move we travel but we do not see,
This glorious land of ours we live in,
The birds, flowers, and trees.
Yes it’s there for us all to admire,
It’s beauty this country of splendor,
But you wont you’ll pass it bye,
Night will fall again day will be gone.
One day you will awaken to the new dawn,
Maybe it will be your turn to see,
Then when you do for that moment in time,
You will be free in peace till day begins again.
