Friends Are Like Angels!
Our friends are like angels
who brighten our days
In all kinds of wonderful,
Magical Ways~
Their thoughtfulness comes
as a gift from above,
And we feel we're surrounded
by warm, caring love.

Remember in school when we'd whisper and
pass notes about boys?
We'd get in trouble for talking in class or planning
some ploy.
We'd share our deepest secrets as we'd take our strolls,
Cross our hearts and swear we'd never tell another soul.
A lot of years have passed since then...more than I care to recall,
We've been through a lot...and we've probably seen it
all.
We use to talk about our future...now we try to remember
the past,
I wish we could slow time down...it's passing way too
fast.
We both have have husbands and families we love,
We both have faith and belief in God above.
Neither of us are as young as we use to be,
At heart though it's the same old you and me.
Our friendship has endured the passing of time and
is still just as strong,
Friendships like ours...filled with love and respect
are made to be lifelong.
