How blest am I that I can be,
Reunited with my family.
Tho' separated by miles and time,
I can touch base with those who are mine.
God in His Love, me a family provided,
Within whose care, I long resided
Until I left, making life on my own,
Prepared by my past, in a good, loving Home.
So often our lives seem to travel full speed,
Making us choose 'tween our wants and our needs.
Sometimes in the shuffle, family life wanes,
Becoming detached, loved one feeling the strain.
Reminded by events of our modern world age,
Knowing a family's worth, doesn't take a sage.
But we must take time, family ties to grow,
To receive the full blessing, God wants us to know.
Whether it be a child,a parent or mate,
Embrace them in Love, and appreciate.
Turn off "Auto-Pilot" and give them your best,
Cause them to know your true feelings and zest.
Oh Families come Home, wherever you are,
Renew Kindred Ties, of those near and far.
As building block of our society,
God bless and renew our dear Families!
