Alison and Shaun are united as one,
Just as it should be so,
For they are so much in love,
It's in their eyes it's all on show!

So off they went to Las Vegas,
And the happy couple were wed!
And at the point when they were asked ‘do you?'  
This is what they both said…

‘Yes we do!  We take each other...
To be joined as man and wife…!'
And just like that, they were married,
For richer for poorer and for life!

Now Shaun you're my younger cousin,
And you're also my Godson too,
So it's with all this in mind...
That I write this poem for Alison and you!

You've always been a lovely lad,
And there was always something there,
You always had something special -
you had the ‘fashion' flair!

You've always been a quiet one...
And have always been gentle too,
And your brilliant fashion conscious mind -
Always shone on through!

Now Alison you met Shaun in university,
And sweethearts you did stay,
And now you are man and wife,
And will be all your lifelong day!

You have to be a special girl,
To marry this special man…
And you have certainly aspired…
To be all that you can!

The future is a rosy one,
Now you are man and wife,
May all your days be blessed,
May you be one for all your life!

So here you are, the happy couple,
So very much in love,
May you forever be happy together...
As you sail on the wings of love…!

Like a whisper on the winds…
And on the sands of time…
Go gently where the wind doth blow,
And contentment forever be thine…!

So now Alison and Shaun…
