A Day In The Sun

There's a wicker picnic basket
With a blanket tucked inside
Sweet love lets go to the place
That we like to hide

A place where butterflies are lazy
Fluttering past in a meadow
The sky is blue above us
As the world turns slow below

Its a secret little corner
Where childrens kites have been
A place where even sweet dreams
Are riding on the wind

We don't have to speak at all
We'll let our lips bestow a kiss
Our hearts whisper softly to the sky
Vows of love time can not dismiss

Take my hand my precious love
Come now and walk with me
Let's enjoy this day in the sun
Won't you run away with me?
