Rain Down On Me(Having A Bad Day) Baby let your sweet rain fall on me For right now I am slowly dying Each step I take is just so hard But Baby please see that I am trying Today I have fallen down so low My tears have left me dry and thirsty Please let your rain fall down now Until this thirst mercifully has left me It's an endless desert I wander now With the sun burning bright above These sands cutting softly in my hands As I cry out for the shelter of your love These sands whip harshly at my face Help me love to simply find my way My eyes close blinded from this torture Bringing the darkness hindering me today So let your rain fall down on me love You know your love can heal and sooth Rain down on me and bring new life And even this desert shall bloom ~THE FLOWING PEN~ 2-17-04 Vote for this poem
