A New Woman
The princess and the barrio boy
a girl so rich turning everyday things into major events.
Couldn't even be allowed to catch a bus being referred to as an alien space ship.
Soon had eyes on a guy so fine.
You got to wait in line.
Not knowing what he was or what his family did or what they were.
She was like a princess, breakfast in bed, appellation, laser treatment, manicures, TV in room, glittery curtains, four poster bed, you name it, she got her slave.
he was poor, lived off fruit in the back of the garden where his dad made a living when selling plants on the side of east l.a where most people were poor.
she couldn't help herself as he made so much to what she says and she never had so much fun just talking before in her life.
She and him went out and did normal things for once.
Never did she feel trapped like everyday things were mental things to do.
Soon daddy got mad and swore never to let her out of the house again.
So she ran away and went to stay with her man.
The princess and the barrio boy...
They ran to a place a secret place under the stars and trees.
Where they had their very own sacred, treasured place.
They kissed each other and they lived happily ever.
Couldn't even be allowed to catch a bus being referred to as an alien space ship.
Soon had eyes on a guy so fine.
You got to wait in line.
Not knowing what he was or what his family did or what they were.
