A Bitter Foundation!

Built on a foundation of lies and deceit,
The path is solidly set,
Nothing bends, nothing is true,
Lies and deceit are all you get!

A path of lies and deceit…
Leads you to the road to hellfire,
All you have is a mess…
Everything is in the mire!

The future is a bed of thorns,
Nothing is real, nothing is true,
All you have is a life of lies,
And you don't know what to do!

As you tread those footsteps,
You weave and duck and dive,
Wondering how long it will last,
As you fight for the truth to stay alive.

A life of lies leads to a life of stress,
Then the web is solidly set,
All you have is emptiness…
And unhappiness is all you get!

If all you have are lies and deceit,
Then you really have nothing that's true,
The whole of your life is a sham,
And there is nothing that you can do!

But it will come to pass one day,
Meanwhile you continue strive,
And stay on the side of truth…
Keep that truth alive!

A bitter foundation built of lies and deceit,
Deceit and mistrust is all you have known,
What happened to the truth, to love?
Why won't the lies cease and leave us alone!

Why are we buried in lies so bad?
That harm all through our life,
When will the truth finally out?
And end a life of deceit and strife!

They say money is the root of all evil,
And I can honestly say…
It's the truth, it really is,
For lies and money killed my life one day!

Why did it have to be so bad?
Where does the lie begin and end?
When oh when will it ever leave…?
And peace become my friend…!
