Judging OthersMatthew 7:1-5 Others judge not and you won't be judged, For it's just a sign of you being begrudged; Your judgment of others will also judge you, Before judging others, to yourself be true; You can see a speck in someone else's eye, But not even notice in your own a horsefly; Just how are you able to remove the speck, When the horsefly in your own left uncheck; A hypocrite is what you are trying to be, Airing your dirty laundry for us all to see; With having the nerve for another critique, When your own windows still have a streak; Take the horsefly out of yours beforehand, Then the speck, able to meet the demand; It's not us to judge a sister or brother, That's a something for our Heavenly Father; Treat others how you wish to be treated, You won't be so paranoid, feeling defeated; Showing others more towards the kindness, God will shower you with more blessedness; Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2004 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
