The blue skies have clouded over.
The sun is setting lower.
As quickly as time passes, so must the rainbow fade.
All beauty of life's treasures wilt, die, abandon laid.
The dreams of yesterday lay in malignant decay.
The wonderful hopes, once shared, are a lonely burden today.
Look around, all have slipped away.
The memories haunt, becoming a cross to bear.
There is not an eye open to such despair.
There is not even a soul to care.
This lonesome sojourn endures a short time.
Life has lost all reason and rhyme!
